On behalf of everyone at Cornerstone Development, we sincerely hope that you and your family had a safe and enjoyable holiday season.

2008 is going to be an exciting year for Cornerstone Development as we look forward to completing our project in the DeMun neighborhood, The Alamo Condominiums. The Alamo project was carefully specified in order to achieve an Energy Star rating from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. In addition, we have incorporated many "Green" finishes and details as possible. Green building and the environmental sustainability will be an important concern for us as developers, as it will to all mankind in the future. We are proud to be able to do our part for this socially conscious movement. The Alamo Condominiums begin at $477,000 and go to $595,000. Drive by and take a look, they are located on the corner of Alamo & St. Rita on the West side of the old CBC high school.

In addition, we are ready to commence rehabilitation on both of our 6 – family apartment buildings on Westwood, in the Moorlands neighborhood. Our goal is to achieve and create an affordable condominium for younger buyers who want to live in the Clayton area, yet still be stylish and environmentally friendly. We will commence our marketing efforts for Westwood later this summer.

Our project in Old Webster, The Providence, has proven to be one of our biggest challenges to date. There is very strong demand in Webster Groves for the lifestyle that condominiums offer, however; this market is very specific about their needs and desires. Currently we are working with our architect to create a more value driven development for our buyers, while maintaining our point of view and perspective as a developer. We are extremely pleased with the warm welcome we have received from many of the residents and business owners and look forward to working with them. I now office at the Sales Center on site at the corner of W. Lockwood & Jefferson…stop by and say hello if you’re in the neighborhood.

Forest Court Commons and Gaslight Square both a have a couple of residences left to be purchased. Forest Court starts at $655,000 and Gaslight Square starts at $269,000….it is a great time to buy with record low interest rates!
